OHAR app privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to OHAR (Online Help Auto Repair), including its Android version distributed through Google Play. It describes how data is handled when you use the app and its related OHAR services.

Developer and privacy contact

The OHAR app developer is responsible for data processing within the project. Send privacy enquiries and requests to delete your account and data to: support@ohar.su.

Data we process

You sign in to OHAR through Telegram or MAX, depending on the sign-in method you choose. The app and its services process:

  • your OHAR user identifier and the Telegram or MAX account identifier needed for authentication;
  • the IP address from which the app connects to OHAR services;
  • request dates and times, and service logs of app use and authentication.

How we use data

The current version of OHAR contains no advertising. The data listed above is not used for advertising profiles.

  • to authenticate you and provide access to OHAR features;
  • to operate the service and manage access;
  • to identify errors, prevent abuse and protect the service.

Data sharing and external services

The messenger you choose for sign-in, Telegram or MAX, processes data under its own privacy policy. OHAR services process the authentication identifier to provide access to the app.

Hosting and technical infrastructure providers may process technical data needed to operate OHAR services. Data is not sold. Other disclosures require your consent or a requirement under applicable law.

Data security

Access to data is limited to operating and supporting OHAR, maintaining security and handling user enquiries. The developer takes measures to protect data from unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure.

Retention

  • Your user identifier is retained while your account exists, until the account is deleted.
  • IP addresses and service logs are retained for no more than 90 days.

Deleting your account and data

Request account and data deletion

Request deletion of your OHAR account and associated personal data using the web form linked above. You do not need to sign in or install the app. Alternatively, email support@ohar.su with the subject “Delete OHAR account and data”. Specify Telegram or MAX and an ID or username that allows us to locate your account. If you have lost messenger access, provide a contact email and explanation.

The developer verifies account ownership before deletion. Once verified, the request is completed within 30 days: the account, its identifiers, messenger association and linked personal data are deleted. Your Telegram or MAX account is unaffected. OHAR account deletion is irreversible; uninstalling the app does not itself request account deletion.

IP addresses and security service logs remain until their normal retention period expires, no longer than 90 days, and are not used to restore the deleted account.

The web form collects your sign-in method, account identifier and, if supplied, contact email and additional information. They are used only to locate the account, verify ownership and handle your request. The request is stored in a private database until resolved and for no more than 90 days afterwards. The developer is notified through Telegram with only the request reference and sign-in method, without form fields. A form cookie protects request submission; the server session lifetime is one hour. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.

Policy updates

This policy is updated when data handling practices change. The current version is available at https://ohar.su/app-privacy/ and https://ohar.eu/app-privacy/; the update date appears at the beginning of the document.
